I just got my disk and it's telling me to go to netflix.com/ps3 to activate, but I get redirected to a page asking me to enter my email address... Nothing about activation codes.

    What am I missing :dunno:

Cant wait for netflix on the ps3. I mean i have it on the 360, but the ps3 is gaining steam.

Im wondering if the movie library on the ps3 will be larger due to the fact sony has more movie muscle than ms.

The ps3 netflix interface is terrible compared to the 360's... it's the same interface that's on my Insignia Blu-Ray player with netflix streaming. I got the disc just to have it, but I'll probably just stick with the 360 for streaming.

Im sure its a work in progress. Jesus. At least they are offering the service.

I personally dont care, but I love the competition between the consoles i own.

It just gives me, the end user, better shit on each on.

    Win? Yes.

I don't think it's a "work in progress" it's more of a band-aid until the netflix-360 exclusivity ends and Netflix can build the service into the PS3 dashboard... only then will the interface become better.

I'm pretty sure the content is based on netflix, not sony or microsoft

Sony pulled a bunch of movies from being shown on Netflix because of the exclusive deal that M$ has with Netflix. Now that it's coming to a close, Sony might put those movies on their service.

I'll be upset is PS3 streaming gets Sony movies, but 360 doesnt.

It'd suck for 360 owners but it's a legit strategy for sony. Why let their competitors use their own products against them?

ps3 already has that, you just gotta pay to buy them or rent them from the PSN store.

probably the same? i mean you have to add them to the instant queue from your computer anyways so i dont see how they could be different.

i mean back when 360 netflix first came out, i was under the assumption *every* movie you could rent via mail was available to stream. but this wasn't the case at all... the movies you could stream were very limited. you couldn't even get most new releases. this was months ago so i haven't checked up how it is now. just wondering if PS3 netflix has more/less movies than 360 netflix

i use TivoHD over 360, but 360 is probably the best interface. I only use the Tivo because it's already at my fingertips while watching TV, even in my Now Playing list. PS3 is really slow at responsiveness, especially while hitting pause/play. Plus having to have a disc in the system. I will never use it.
