is this to use on a home dvd player? because a lot of newer dvd players recognize jpg files. so just make a picture cd.

I think you need to put them in subfolders if I'm not mistaken

    Go here http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers
Do a search for your dvd player make and model, then you'll know what all that player can do.

You may or may not have to put the pics in subfolders, but you may be limited to the number of images the player can read per folder and the root of the cd counts as a folder.
My APEX player can only do something around 250 pics per folder, so I put them in subfolders so that I would be able to view them all.

Ulead has a program that could help make the images into a VCD, called Ulead Dvd PictureShow. I've never used so I don't know how good it really is, but Ulead usually puts out good stuff. There are other programs out there that can also do it and some I'm sure are free.
