I took this of my house tonight..I think it turned out quite nice. The flash didn't fire in the tree...I wanted to try to light it up from the inside as well..I think it needs to shoot from the top down rather than the bottom up.

    :dunno:

Doesn't do anything for me.... not really interesting and the lighting is nothing special.

That was exactly what I was thinking of but I couldn't put my finger on it. I was like "that looks really familiar...but why would a building be lit up like that"

I lit it with my SB600 @ 14mm. :ugh: I was just messing around to try to fill with ambient light. The reason I took the picture is for a German exchange student to see what my house looks like. :naughty:

There was a sb800 in the tree to light it from the inside...but those turned out

I have been practicing with off camera and my son on our trampoline...those come out pretty good...but there really is no background separation.

I would wait until there is daylight to take your next picture....the german exchange student will think you are retarded if you send him this picture. :greddy:

Not enough ambient, too much fill, FTL. :ugh:

I keep expecting the Blair Witch to pop out of the background or some shit.

not a bad start, location lighting can be tricky.

If she is from Germany it is very likely she is a tranny....:noes:

I would also bet she/it is accustomed to shitting on other peoples chests and drinking piss. You can learn everything you need to know about Germans by watching German pornography and war documentaries.

try shooting longer than just 1/60 of a second. set your camera on a tripod, then fire the flash manually a few times... or do some light painting with a spotlight... I think you'd get much better results that way.
