What are some good PCIE Nvidia cards?

What brand is the best, or has higher quality?

Is having two monitors worth it?

Is SLI worth it, can I use SLI with 2 monitors?

If I do decide to hook up 2 monitors can I use two different sizes? (IE. one CRT and one LCD)

Ive always wanted to hook up my HD TV to my computer, is there a video card that will do it?

    1. I'd rather have two screens than a widescreen. It's a pain in the ass to get a lot of programs to work with widescreen resolutions, and widescreen is only useful when watching movies anyway -- the rest of the time you'll either not notice the extra width, or wish you had extra height to go with it.

    2. You can use SLI with two screens, but SLI isn't worth it. You can just buy a better video card in six months that will do everything the two older cards can do right now. Unless you're a crazy gamer, SLI is pointless.

    3. Yes, you can use two different-size monitors, but it will start to bug you after a while that they aren't completely interchangeable.

    4. DVI outputs can be converted to HDMI with a simple adaptor. In other words, ALL video cards worth buying can connect to HDTVs.

evga is pretty much the best brand as far as nvidia cards go, but what will be best for you depends on your budget and what performance you want/need. SLI is fucking worthless unless you want to waste a shitload of money on the best system you can possibly build.

    >What are some good PCIE Nvidia cards?
    8800Ultra > 8800GTX > 8800GTS > etc.

    >What brand is the best, or has higher quality?
eVGA and XFX,... both have lifetime warranties, also covers overclocking

    >Is having two monitors worth it?
    yes, it increases productivity.

    >Is SLI worth it,
    no, it's worthless

    >can I use SLI with 2 monitors?
traditional SLI, no. You need a 3rd non-Nvidia card for it to work.

    yes. looks ghetto though.
