right now i am running a GeForce 2 Ultra. it is pretty good for what i do but since im upgrading everything i figured id upgrade that too.

i have the following 3 cards lined up and i need some opinions:

now i know the Elsa card is only 128mb and the two chaintech cards are 256. the reason im considering the Elsa card is cus my current card is an Elsa and ive had it for 5 years and it still runs perfectly, so i dont have any questions about their quality....also, does the fact that it has more 3d accel. features mean its pretty good too? sorry i am not every educated in video cards. im looking for a good card with atleast 128mb and under $100.

There isn't that much difference between the ELSA nVIDIA GeForce FX5700LE Video Card and the CHAINTECH nVIDIA GeForce FX5700LE Video Card. Mainly because its the same chipset :p However it seems that the ELSA one offers more, and your good experience with ELSA would make this the purchase of choice

what about the fact that trhe elsa is 128mb and the chaintech is 256mb. even tho they are the same chipset, doesnt the higher ram make a difference?

you should check on the latency specs of the different ram... 128MB of faster ram will be better than 256MB of slower ram.... this is very common.

I personally went for a 128mb card while there were plenty of 256mb cards that I could get for less money.
