im looking to get one and havnt been really searching around, so i thought i'd come here first...

my only requirments are it have 360 degree horizontal rotation, and 180 degree vertical pivot...like it can point directly down and directly up....i dont even know if thats possible...

also, as close to 6 feet tall as possible...and under 50 bucks?

1 more thing, i want to get a remote capture thing to...where you can be away from the camera w/ a remote thing and press it to take the picture instead of pressing the button on the camera...

at any rate, thanks for the help in advance...

    **edit---quick release would be good...

WalMart has one for 40 bucks... its a pretty decent tripod and has everything you asked for including quick release... not sure its a FULL 180*, its close though.

Is there an IR receiver anywhere on the camera?
