Any place online print weird sizes?
not sure about online places, mpix will do 20´x30´, you could try kinkos or a local print shop with a large format roll printer.
They will do a 30x60 print. it will add a white "border" to the top and bottom, you'll just have to cut it off.
minus whale take it to wal-mart
I can vouch for their quick turnaround and very nice quality.
agreed. I've done a bunch of stuff through Elco and it's turned out great. Usually have it in 4 or 5 days.
I might be able to do it. How much are you willing to pay?
I have had some 20x30s done by Elco, hot shit.
elco is fantastic, ive had metallic 20x30s done, and it only took 3 days to deliver despite shipping discrepencies (Canada)
I got a couple done by them and they came out much darker than I expected. Is that cause of the matte format? The quality was great but the darkness killed me.
word... i worked there for a little while. the large format printer had never been calibrated so i calibrated weekly but then i left
plus they want 10$ per square foot
Is your monitor calibrated?
Not with those expensive calibration tools. I've tried those "can you see the box in the box" color tests and I could see all the shades and everything. This screen is actually quite good (HP DV8000 laptop), I even upgraded the monitor when I ordered it but for some reason when I ordered them large they came out dark (4X6 and 5X7's of the same print came out fine).
just got a couple 20 by 30s
I need to take a shot of the 24x30 I just got done at elco and post it in here.
I just ordered a couple 20x30's from elco. Hopefully I am as happy as everyone else has been with them.
Do you know of any good places online to get decent 20x30 frames? None of the stores in my area have them except walmart, and they're really shitty frames. I had one made at Hobby Lobby, but I don't really want to spend close to $200 on a frame again.
That's a good question. These are the first prints I've ever had done, so I'm new to the frame game as well. I've been trying to find some on the web and haven't really found any in the sub $50 range that I really like.
I got one at Michael's for around $40. It's just a simple black frame (20X30).
I also can vouch for Elco's quality... Had (2) 20x30 prints done by them and framed them for my parents for Christmas. I spent twice as much on the frames as I did for the prints
I'm liking what I am seeing here, I'm going to give them a try. Got my eye on a 24x34 for under 50 bux with all the fixin's
