Need to gain weight but not fat

    I want to gain 10 - 15 pounds without looking like a whale. So other than bulking up on food, what's a good routine that maximizes muscle gain and minimizes weight loss?

    honestly though, eat. if you want to gain weight and good muscle mass, just eat clean foods, oats, wheat bread, drink lots of water, good fatty oils and just lift. i dont really want to go too in depth but theres a newbie guide to bulking in the archives.

    also remember to eat immediately after your workouts and get LOTS of sleep for muscle growth and recovery

    If you're not willing to commit yourself to working out 3-5 times a week for a year, then you might as well just give it up and get fat like the majority of people.
