Hey guys I need to find a motherboard to be used with this memory. A pentium 4 obviously.:)

    Kingston 512mb
    KTM4049/512
    FRU 33R4969

Only thing I could find is:
This 512MB memory module is designed for the IBM Intellistation M Pro (6220, 6230-xxx) models and replaces IBM part numbers 06P4050 and 06P4057.

But I want to know if they can be used on a motherboard...my dad picked them up from work...brand spanking new sealed.

so you're actually going to BUY a chip, meaning you don't have one?

I say sell the ram. It's not worth it. First of all, you say a "good speed" which kinda eliminates the 2.8. And the only 3.0 that's worth anything now is the LGA775 version. The 3.0E S478 is kinda on it's way out -- around only for legacy support. And unless you NEED the ECC, then it's just gonna hurt your performance and upgradability options down the road.
