    yo guys.

    im working on a live wp install in the root directory of a domain.

    the old site is a static html site.

    since the wp site isnt done yet, is there an easy way to direct traffic to the old site within a subfolder

    ie domain.com --> domain.com/oldsite

    I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE DNS OF THE SITE SO FORWARDING THE DOMAIN IS NOT POSSIBLE.

    or use html meta redirect. Google it. Set it to 0 seconds to be almost instant. The php header redirect will be fastest and the most non noticeable
