    leg lifts
    eating/drinking healthier
(I need to exercize lower back, I do work out on the rowing machine quite a bit)

That's true, but there's no way in hell 500cal/day is healthy.

umm you are highly overtraining. 2500 is the magic number, supersetted with 500 leg lifts

    ah, understood.

I have this problem too. Not really a beer belly, but it seems that the majority of the fat I have left to burn is located in that area. I'm on a pretty good diet and hardly ever cheat/break it, but things arent working.

I guess I'm gonna pick back up the cardio see if that helps.

No, step 1 is admitting you have a problem.

ok, tried to do some morning cardio today. Not happening. The place was entirely filled with old women, some MILFs, and kids running on the treadmills.

So I just did like an hour worth of abs and few sets of squats then ran home. :dunno: I'm gonna make another attempt tomorrow morning.

general cardio should decrease body fat

warm up before you do crunches, like by taking a a short jog, jump some rope. and doing 100 upon 100s of crunches won't really help. if you do like 2 sets of 25 of effective crunches, you will get results. and don't do them every day, if you want defined abs, take a one day break between ab workout days. i know that they are one of the faster muscles to heal, but usually give it a day break.

there are many different types of ab workouts out there, like i said if you do like 2 sets of 25 of effective crunches and other ab workouts, you should be getting rid of the beer belly in no time.

This is what I've always heard works..

Abs are made in the kitchen..you have to have a low enough body fat percentage to even see them. You may have great abs, but you just can't see em under the flab.

also need to do cardio. Do cardio at least 3X a week and make sure you split up your weight training days from your cardio days. Or if you want to do both in the same day, you could try cardio in the morning and then lifting at night.

Also, you said you do weights twice a week? Thats not enough...you need to go at least 3X a week.
