Give me some suggestions on good bands. Something similar to Dimmu Borgir.

Close to Dimmu? Maybe Emperor's last few and Ihsahn's solo material. I'd also recommend Chthonic, Anorexia Nervosa, Corvus Corax, Stigmatic Chrous, Thyrane, and Scars of Chaos in that vein.

    Other good symphonic metal bands?
    Rhapsody
    Therion (download them now)
    After Forever
    Epica
    Kamelot
    Nightwish
    Aesma Daeva
    Turisas

fagmetal? I wold hardly call Dimmu Borgir fagmetal.

I'm not so much on the softer stuff, but I can't get enough of Dimmu's style.

you should really check out Limbonic Art, Moon in the Scorpio is fucking perfect symphonic black metal. Of course you need Emperor on there too, especially In The Nightside Eclipse. Kamelot is a symphonic power metal band I recently got into. Karma, and Ghost Opera are awesome.

Opeth is nothing like Dimmu, or even symphonic metal for that matter. But I've listened to Opeth for a long time now and they still remain one of my favorites.

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

What do you mean symphonic metal? Do you want black metal, death metal, viking metal, power metal, or prog? I can name a million bands that in incorporate symphonic keyboards but what genre?
