I noticed today that my printer spits out prints that are noticeably darker than what I see on my monitor and the color is *slightly* different. Anyone had good experiences with a certain brand of calibrator? I am using OS X so that may be a factor as well. Doesn't have to be the BEST on the market as well either.

    Let me know! :hsd:

What kind of computer? If you're using an iMac, the glossy screen will make things look different. If you've got something like a Mac Pro with the Studio Display, then huey is generally the way to go.

I've got a Mac Pro with a Samsung 2232BW monitor, soon to be replaced by a Samsung T240.

Yeah, the Huey should work well. It is kinda expensive, though. It's $200

I have the huey basic and use a dell 2408wfp. It first calibrated it and had a blue tint, so I contacted huey. They are sending me a new unit. After testing a little bit more I found out that when I changed the profile on the monitor and then did a calibration, it worked. Its pretty easy, but I kinda wish I got the pro so I can do both my monitors, oh well.

test 8x12 nocorrects from costco come out pretty accurate.
