well, i went down to the photo store today to buy a new battery for it, so while i was there i decided to go ahead and buy a lens cap and lens hood for it (since they were only $6 and $5) and then while i was paying, i asked if they had any used lenses for sale there, which they did. so i was looking around at the two telephoto ones they had, and decided that i wanted the vivitar 135 f2 that they had and then put $20 down on it and have to pay the other $20 to get it.

cliffs: my $10 trip turned into a $60 dollar trip.

I did that. I was looking around reading up on Canon and Nikon and bought a Casio pro600 "for now". £298 :big grin:

I love the P600 for what it is. Never seen anything that impressed me so much. Excellent build, lens and quality, tons of features and the biggest lcd ever. 25 shooting modes and aperature and shutter speed priority modes. Don't get much better than that for a pocket cam with a 4x Canon lens
