I don't even really know if this is possible, because of the way the face dynamics are. But maybe someone could help me out with this.

I did a wedding shoot this weekend for one of my best friends, and For some reason when we took this picture, they were not looking at the camera  And I wanted to get a print of this 20x30 for them for my wedding present.

I've tried moving the eyes and such with the clone tool, but nothing really is working out, If someone needs full res, let me know, and I can get it when I get home, I appreciate all the help...

i'd go with the second one (even though i don't like the people in the background)...the first one, the people have a sort of awkward pose and that green hat ruins the pic IMO

your best bet would be to find a similar shot where they are looking at the camera, and take the eyes from that pic and "graft" them into this one.

Use someone else's eyes. They won't know unless I tell them.

In the second one did you add an outer glow to the couple or did you feather it a little when you masked? Eitherway, it looks a little artificial, if you were to print this one (I like it by the way) I think redoing the post processing might be beneficial. I think the first one is an awkward pose, and for a 20x30 they will hang somewhere notable in their house, one without a baseball cap would make a better present.

Yeah, I'd scrap the first one:(
Also If you're going to give them that second one, re post process the image. There are halos around everything. I'm guessing shadow/highlight tool? I'd worry about that more than the fact there are people in the background. I also wouldn't worry too much about removing the people from the image, it's a wedding, there are guests...it's part of the feel of a wedding:)
The second one would have been even better if his eyes had been open! Either way still a decent capture that just needs a little tlc before going to client/friend/print lab. :)
As far as the 'for some reason they weren't looking at the camera' goes, it's most likely because there was probobly an army of uncle frigging jims and aunt fucking janes in the background waving their 2MP point and shoot and disposeable cameras at them while standing behind you. Welcome to one of the biggest PITAS for wedding photographers these days. Every person that walks into a bestbuy and picks up their brand spakin new point and shoot and learns how to take their media card into a drugstore somewhere to get 'prints' done is now an offical event photographer...at least in their own mind.

    Yep :big grin:

I will repostprocess the image, this was just a quick job for the alubum i did, and when it resized, I only used 55% Quality, and it got really bad.

If you want to see the album it's here: http://www.airpoppoff.com/Extravaganzas/Ryan%20And%20Tiffany's%20wedding/Wedding/

Thanks for the effort, I don't know why but their face dynamics are still kinda screwed up and looking the other way, I think I just might go with the second picture, But thanks :wiggle:
