    14-24 and 24-70.

Two best zooms in their range, period. Of any brand.

I has 70-200 2.8 afs. pre VR version. I dont' shoot sports much anymore. so I don't use it very often.

I'm looking at the 14-24...it's more in line with what I like to shoot these days.
    travel/landscape/nature.

    1500 bucks...sigh.....:hs:

    17-55/2.8 or 28-70/2.8

    you'll love either one

the 17-55/2.8 you can find new, but the 28-70/2.8 you'll have to buy used

or you could go the more expensive route and purchase the 24-70/2.8:o
