I'm planning on purchasing a Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP 24" LCD Monitor

    LINK: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/pro...l.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=cadhs1&sku=320-6272

It is Priced at $599.99CDN and $579.99USD

I will be using it for my future gaming computer and my PS3. Also I will be using it as a media monitor as well.

I AM NOT a graphic artist on any level and my sensitivity to high quality pictures are in par with a donkey

I am looking for pros and cons FROM YOUR EXPERIENCES with this monitor. I've read a lot of reviews and found that for a regular user it is a excessively awesome monitor but of the 1337 users it's only mediocre.

I chose this monitor as an investment and the price is pretty much the max I can afford.

Any input or opinions on it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks OT techies

the dell monitors are crap. Better off getting a better lcd from another company. benq and samsung are consistently good.

In my opinion you can get an LCD with similar capabilities (response time, outputs, etc.) for a lower price. What P07 said.
