Medical condition, he is losing weight and needs to pack on pounds quick..

Is there anything you can get at GNC that has a high calorie count per serving?

well ya there is weight gainers that have almost 2000 kcal per serving. But talk to a nutritional expect first man , if hes sick like this you might want to solve the problem first instead of trying to mask it.

Chocolate ice cream + whole milk + some kind of whey protein (I'm thinking chocolate mint or cookies & cream) = insanely good milkshake ?

Weight gainer contain a lot of shit. Get some quality ice cream, whole milk, whey protein and you can even add some chopped nuts and/or oil (but oil might not make it palatable for him).

There some kind of butter pecan ice cream that could be nice with chopped walnut, milk and some kind of whey.

It's a big long story.. We will check with his Doc and make sure what we give him is ok.. We just need suggestions.

Right now we have him on a protein blend (EAS Premium).

you can also try ensure which is in supermarkets- it definately is marketed to older people who need calorie dense foods which are nutritious.

What's his condition? I don't think it's advisable to recommend dietary changes without knowing what is going on.

at his age, I would think GH would be the only way he can maintain it. I could be wrong though. Or it could be serious medical problem. :dunno:
