    so im hosting 20 sites using a dreamhost shared account, and now theyre saying im using 20% of their SQL resources

    i waste about 20GB bandwith each month, and want to add another 20 or so since it's being lucrative

    so i need to move on to something better, but also cheap

    * $30/month in discounts and free upgrades
    * free RAM upgrade: 256MB to 384MB (normally $5/month)
    * free Storage upgrade: 20GB to 50GB (normally $5/month)
    * free Bandwidth upgrade: 200GB to 400GB (normally $10/month)
    * plus $10 off the regular price: $50/month (normally $60)
    * Click Here To Save $30/Mth on VPS 1!

    so $50 a month for:
    384 ram, 400gb bandwith and 50GB HD
    from LIQUID WEB

    that's good, right?

    384 is good, but if i remember right, liquid web runs cpanel, and thats a resource hog.

    im new to vps/dedicated

    (Optional) We will configure two nameservers on your server at no additional charge. Enter the hostnames of your desired nameservers here if you wish to use this service. For example:

    * ns1.yourdomain.com
    * ns2.yourdomain.com

    wtf is this? arent nameservers where you point all your domains to?
    i'll have to have my own nameserver and point all my domains to it?

    you can have your own domain servers.

    like say your site is offtopic.com

    they will configure it so that you point your offtopic.com domain to ns1.offtopic.com and ns2.offtopic.com :)

    all you have to do is add the 2 ips they give you and configure them as ns1. and ns2.
