Well I guess I will have to go through manually. How can I erase the registration name and such?

Any ideas where I can find the area where I can change the name of the person to whom the computer is registered to?

if you don't know what the registry you will never be able to do this -- especially not within an hour. Cancel all your credit cards and put a fraud alert on your credit report.... you're getting fucked.

you could dban the drive, but then the person you are selling to wouldnt have an OS unless you have the original restore disk

What you are trying to do isn't a quick job and to do it properly and thoroughly (without wiping the whole drive and reinstalling shit) will take quick a long time.

You'll need a "secure" deleting program to remove and rewrite over (multiple times) any of your data that you don't want to "share". As jollyogre says, just take out the disk, it'll be much simpler.

Otherwise make a choice, either give him the drive with your information on it or "securely" delete the entire drive.
