Sold this guy an older iPod Shuffle that I had.

It has music on it, he wanted it because it was full of music.

So....he has a PC, I told him to mount the Shuffle using RealPlayer but it will not see the Shuffle (or so he says) he is not a very advanced PC user, and this is his first mp3 player.

He also has a copy of iTunes on his PC for some reason or other. And he says it will not see the music on the Shuffle at all.

Could someone please explain what is happening here? Thanks guys.

the shuffle is probably formatted for macs, so he can't read it

you need to take it back, format it for windows (you can do this through itunes), and put your music back on it.

    then give it to him
