Was just talking to me boss, and she asked where is the best place to buy Bose? She was paying $4000 for a 7 speaker setup. A regular 5-1 Home Theater for her TV in her family room, and 2 speakers that connect to the same receiver but are 77-80' away on a outside deck for out door entertaining. For some reason, she wants it to be all in one system, not a separate outdoors unit and indoor unit. Any suggestions??

    Thanks alot

The system she wanted was the Lifestyle 35 w/ the 251 Outdoor Expansion package.

There are HUNDREDS of home theater receivers that have 2-zone functionality. Tell her to walk into any Best Buy, and she'll find at least 12 receivers that will allow her to have her receiver playing a movie in the home theater room with surround on, and the speakers on the deck outside playing their own source as well.

Remember: "No highs, no lows, it must be Bose"

Aside from being the only HT company on TV for the most part, I really dont know how they have stayed in business.

27-45 year old male demographics, in upper middle class and lower upper class (according to a BOSE rep at Best Buy a few years ago). It's the yuppies speaker of choice, and in their price range. Also, look at cars that the average male of those ages drive, the usually have BOSE installed in them right from the factory - hell, my fathers Porsche 911 Targa has them stock.
