a buddy of mine offered a trade. what do you guys think?

he has a Remington 700 SPS 25-06 rifle with less than 10 rounds through it.

i have a Kimber polymer custom 1911. bought it used. got in touch with Kimber about it and they said it was made pre-98. dont know how many rounds have been through it total, but i've probably put around 400 rounds through it.

    both are in nice shape.

    what do y'all think?

what do you want to use the rifle for? i'd wait and get a more common caliber. kinda sounds like an impulse trade. i'd pass.

Unless you're really itching to get your hands on that particular rifle I'd say pass on the trade.

it's less common than most other rifle calibers and more expensive

It's uncommon by mil-surp standards, but not by any other.
