I have about 20 sites and my current webhost has really been dropping the ball. Downtime, taking 2 days to respond to my support requests, etc. They were great for years, but it's falling apart.

    Suggestions?

i should mention i'm tempted to switchm y hosting to godaddy since i have all my domains registered there, but i've heard some negative thigns about them.

i want to have a separate cpanel for each site, so really they aren't that high. 4GB storage and 50GB transfer for each site per month would be fine.

as a reseller, you're essentially saying i would selling hosting to "myself?" doing this, can each site i set up for my "clients," i.e. me via each of my websites have a different ip, all that stuff?

lol, I should be getting commissions for mentioning them so often but I have been happy with hytek hosting for almost two years. I have hundreds of sites spread across two accounts and getting close to starting a third.

Getting a reseller account is great for multiple sites. It makes it as if each site was a different customer even if you are the only "customer". Makes it really easy to control each site as needed rather than trying to deal with a ton of sites in one account. Between my two accounts I am pumping out more than 100gigs a day in bandwidth and my sites work well still.

hytek is only run by a couple of guys so there are some "negatives". First of all, they can be a little shower with support tickets. Never more than 24 hours but not like some huge companies that respond in minutes. They are also a bit more expensive than the bulk services out there.

But they make up for that by being more personal and although they don't support outside scripts or problems sites they have never not helped me with something when I asked. Usually silly crap they shouldn't spend time doing but they do.

Lastly, they are OT members and OT members get a discount ;). You can find one of their old threads and PM Josh to get info on that if interested.

Josh, if you read this...you should really be paying me for all this promotion lol ;).

their plans actually seem really competitive. when you say issues are resolved quickly...how quickly do you mean?

i am going to try to look up a few reviews for them.

I'd had sites on a couple other big hosts before and just wasn't very happy with them. None of the sites I have hosted through my reseller acc't on HyTek get a TON of traffic, but I haven't had any problems with them whatsoever.

Example, I had a company wish to try google domains for email and asked for the mx records of the email to be switched so the email goes through googles server.
Opened a ticket at 9am, they had the switch done within an hour.
