I'm burnt out on a lot of things..

So far I've abused Kashi cereal and oatmeal. I've started making shakes in the morning with oatmeal blended in, which is fine.. I typically don't have time to make eggs, etc because of my 1 hour+25 min commute in the AM..

Any other ideas for breakfast? What are you broly's eating?

I used to eat a South Beach meal replacement bar, but now that I have time I eat a bowl of Special K.

If I feel like it I make myself two eggs with toast.

I wait to eat till I get to work- it's usually oatmeal/whey/PB. How about making yourself a breakfast sammich the night before or something so you can grab it on your way out the door?

I'm finishing up right now two grilled cheese sammiches.

640 cals from the 4 slices of whole grain toast
4 slices of american cheese, i think 30 cals each.

    36g protein, 760 cals.

not a bad start. Trying to load up on carbs because I'm going to the gym later (had to take last week off due to strained lower back... hopefully I'm ready to go back). I will eat much more when i get back from class in a couple hours.

try a cup of egg whites mixed with milk, bagel with peanut butter and a bowl of oatmeal.

if you cant cook em, drink em. if you dont want to drink em....stop crying and cook them.

If it's normal american cheese, it's more like 70 cals each :o if it's FF, 30-40.

Drink 3 eggs, at least 3 pieces of fruit, and bowl of shredded wheat.
Leaves me pretty full and I have a strong energy bust till at least 1 in the noon. I eat around 8-9.

edit: nm didn't notice time limit.

Takes me about 10 minutes to scramble and eat eggs, i'm sure you can fit it in.

:dunno: even better then in terms of calorie intake. I just guessed 30 because the package is torn and I can only see protein/fat content :o

edit: you're right it is 70 cals...

so that's a 1000 cal breakfast right there... plus a banana and glass of OJ it's even more. Only problem is it's probably not healthy to eat 4 slices of american cheese every morning :o

Well, currently live in Tampa and worked out of our Tampa office, but was given a promotion I couldn't turn down. For the time being, I'm commuting.

It'll be over with by the end of the year. I'll be buying a house somewheres closer to Orlando..

a lot of you have a protein shake the first thing in the morning. i've been reading and trying to understand Berardi's whole nutrition timing thing, and so far i've been rather unsuccessful in really understanding what to eat when. is fast digesting protein (i.e. whey) in the morning what you want? or is a slower digesting protein like something from eggs/meat/cheese better in the morning? (i make ham and cheese omlettes in the morning prolly 4 days a week). or does it not matter and the point is just to eat plenty of cals in the morning to get your metabolism going?
