Pre-Story: Was running with my dog, he attacked a deer, almost pulling my arm out. (left shoulder)

After that, I couldnt move my neck and had SHARP pain under the shoulder blade when ever I tried to move my head in any direction. It passed after about of week laying on the bed doing nothing but putting down compresses with heating cream.

For about 2 weeks i was completely good, no pain or discomfort.

Yesterday, the pain comes back out of no where. I cant move my neck again, and I feel very sharp pain, under shoulder blade, and constant stiffness as if something is pulling inside me.
And now my left arm is going a little bit numb.

Going to see my surgeon tommorow just in case.

But I wanted to ask OT :o Since i trust you more then doctors :wavey: :o

Yeah, I would trust all the medical gurus here on OT instead of a surgeon.

X-ray shows bone alignment and MRI shows soft tissue damage. If it's insured isn't your body worth 2 copays?

lol, look its OrionDW. As ironic and hilarious as it is that your beloved dog has fucked you up, you really should get that MRI. You'll wish you did 5 years from now when your arm and neck and shit are still numb. You don't really want to fuck around with nerve/shoulder/tendon damage.

 I wonder what kind of thought process goes like

"hmmm I need medical advice... I'd better ask some dudes on the internets to get to the bottom of this"

I don't care how good of a doctor you are... you can't necessarily diagnose a persons ailment without seeing them in person.

If you really need medical help, seek medical attention.. if you have an inquiry as to health and fitness, the internet MAY be the place to go.

edit: and the offtopic forums are neither yahoo nor webmd, just incase you hadn't noticed.

I just had an arthrogram (sp) the other day and what my doctor though was a rotator cuff injury turned out to be a torn labrum. Just do a little research on rc and labrum and see if you can find what seems to be a match. Of course, continue to seek professional medical advice as well.
