I am ready to get a PC, but I don't know if I it would be better to get a UDM instead.

Also I have no Idea what to do in terms of pads, theres so many to choose from, and different sizes. I have been trying to find guides to help me, but to no avail.
Also I have some simple meguiars #6 polish( I think) is there something better that you guys would recommend?

    So I need to know
    UDM vs. PC
    Backing plate?
    Pads: colors, sizes?!?!?
    Polish.

    Thanks in advance guys

    Either or.
If not included, get 5" hook & loop.
Different color pads = different cuts (strength). 5.5"-6.5" will work.
A compound, glaze, and a wax/sealant of your choice.

If you don't know WTF you want, get a $250 kit from autogeek.net

The UDM has more power, I'd go with that one. It does include the backing plate.

I think the Optimum line of polishes is the most newbie friendly. Meguiars #83 and #80 are also good.
