    It's a printer/fax/copier/scanner

My computer has two hard-drives - one of them has a partition.

    C: 1.85GB -- 1.68GB used
    D: 9.3GB -- 1.89GB used

    E: 10GB -- 2.88MB used

The install process checks C for space and, because there isn't enough, only allows minimal install --- the next windows allows me to select a different spot (drive) to install but won't give me the rest of the stuff. So I've got a printer/copier.

How the ____ do I make it install all of it on D or E?

I'd free up some room to install it on the C: drive. The C: drive is your boot drive and all related drivers/programs should be installed on there.

Clear out your temp folder. Move your swap file and IE cache to D or E. Move your Outlook Express store folder to D or E if you're using it. Those can be moved withing the program pretty easily and should free up lots of space. If your OS was pre-installed, you'll have all your cab files in c:\windows\options\cabs. Moving them to another disk will save lots of space too. The only downside is that if you load another Windows component, it will ask for the disk and you'll have to point it to the new path.

id image my c to my e, and use the old c as a spare drive. You'll want the space on your main drive like cmsurfer and mdaniel said.
