    um...uploaded?
i hope you meant installed...if you just copy the CD's onto your HD, you have non-functional applications that haven't been decomressed and installed properly....nor have the drivers been installed.

is your USB cable plugged in?

When you pop the cable in the USB and then turn your camera on, it should go 'ding', and a screen will pop up and allow you to DL your pics...if this isn't happening then your computer must not of recognized the device :hs:

Get a $20 card reader from your local electronics store.

Just pop out the CF card and upload them directly to your computer without using the propietary software.

They have USB2.0/Firewire readers as well ... I just use an old USB1.1 that does the job albeit slowly .. :o

Yeah, just go spend $20 on a card reader. Make sure it is USB 2.0 cause the older 1.1 is slow. I have one at home and hate using it compared to my USB 2.0 one here at work.
