First a disclaimer of sorts..I'm new to working out, and don't know really any of the exercise names or any of that stuff, so bare with me on that please. Since early October I've been trying to burn fat, but I don't seem to be doing a very good job. I'd like to weigh a bit less than I do, but I'm more concerned with just burning fat. Right now I'm 6'4" 235lbs I've cut down a lot on what I'm eating, haven't had fast food or snacks even once since Oct. I've been running 2 miles every other day and lifting weights every day. (free weights for biceps and triceps, machines for shoulders back and thighs and calves) I do 100 push ups and 200 sit ups every day, plus maybe 50 crunches thrown in there. I also took up boxing around the same time, so I'm jumping rope a lot each day, running stairs, bag work, and pretty heavy sparring twice a week. And here's where I have a problem. Since I started I've only lost about 3-5lbs, and my body hasn't changed at all. I've been steadily increasing the weight that I'm lifting every 2 weeks, and I started running faster. There has been a huge difference in my cardio, but nothing else. Any advice on what I might be doing wrong?
