I wouldn't say my biceps are phenominal but I am satisfied with them. What I would reccomend is maybe some high volume training. If you did 12 sets of 10+ reps with dumbells, they will get big.

Maybe I misunderstood, but it seems he was saying he was doesn't just do machines, but rows of some sort also. I read rows as in dumbell or barbell.

"Do you really think that the reason most guys don't have big arms is purely because of a lack of doing curls? Do we really have an epidemic of biceps curl deficiencies in gyms around the world?" -Alwyn Cosgrove

I recently took out all the bicep isolation exercises in my routine and replaced them with an extra back movement. My arms haven’t felt more worked ever.

well thanks for all the replies, however sarcastic they might have been. i do db rows and cable rows, im going to start on squats in the next month, gonna really try and hit legs hard and then do DL once i get back to school (i found a couple guys that can help me with form, etc) ive just had a bad back all my life so ive been pretty hesitant on doing DL's and squats on my own. the reason why i made this thread is because my bicep routine pretty much consists of me curling for 3 sets with some DB. i work back for a good hour-hour and a half and i hit it with everything ive got, i have seen some nice growth IMO (no pics so STFU) and when i was talking about rows before i was doing DB and cable

If you want big arms in general, then get big triceps.

I do back and biceps on different days, that way I'm hitting them twice a week as opposed to overloading them on the same day.

Back gets hit twice a week as it is. I just tend to do most of my rowing motions on one day, then squats/gm's/dl variations on another.
