Need help updating video card drivers

    Have an ATI mobility radeon x1400

    i have ATI Catalyst control center installed, but whenever i click to open it, it never opens for me

    why isnt opening? shall i delete and re install?

    i tried to update it and it said for me to contact the manufacturer

    whats going on?

    Delete it and reinstall it. It won't hurt anything, and will probably fix the problem.

    i deleted the program entirely, reinstalled it, nothing

    deleted all ATI software, my computer screen started fuckin up

    so i did system restore for the time being

    Well yeah, your screen will drop to 640x480 resolution until you reinstall the drivers.

    Download DriverCleaner Pro and use it to delete all ATI-related drivers from your system, then install the new Catalyst suite. From what I've seen, it is at least somewhat improved since AMD took over.
