:ugh: Sooo....I waited all this time from lets say november till now for a Powerbook, yet hearing all the rumors about a slight upgrade in Powerbooks and a 100gb harddrive from the current PBs, I decided to wait until MWSF. The thing is Mac pulled some crazy shit out of their ass, but I don't see any PB upgrades. Could some Mac Guru or knowledgable person please clarify for me if there will be anymore revealings at MWSF 2005? If not, should i just buy a goddamn PowerBook now?

    Anyone have the same dissapointment?:sadwavey:

yes, I was expecting either a new product release, or a price drop.

I'm disappointed, but I'm not upset -- it's the game we play... Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.

Same here. Still, I would take Powerbook or iBook over any other Windows laptops... :hs:

I think everyone was hoping for speed bumps with the PowerBooks and PowerMacs, but it didn't happen. Oh well. It will eventually, but I would buy now. Waiting for a big event from Mac like yesterday is a good idea. Just sitting around now waiting is not.

I'm ordering a PowerMac for the office today.

they just came out with the mini with the 1.42 so they have to be upgrading very soon, it would have been too much good shit to announce all at once

apple has some marketing geniunes working there

I doubt anything faster will come out any time soon. Maybe just a speed bump, but nothing special. You will see a rebate when they want to get rid of the inventory of current powerbooks and it will be up to you if you want to buy then or wait till who knows how long, (possibly summer) till they release something new.
