Danners and Red Wings are pretty bomb proof. I can't say anything for the quality of the Timberlands, but they look kind of suspect. Its great that its made of recycled materials and all but I'd prefer one of the other two. Personally I like the style of the Red Wings more but it's up to you.

the red wangs look wayyyy better.

Are you just going to be rocking them casually? Just walking around and alike? Or do you need them for work and shit

those rw's will be pretty uncomfortable for a while, they have zero padding inside and some rough edges. not all rw's like that though

danner's might be a safe bet

I'm assuming these won't be work boots, just casual boots.

If that's the case, get the Redwings. The Danners are good boots but you won't want gore-tex all year round and they are pretty clunky for a casual boot.

Steer clear of anything with a padded insole if you are looking for longevity. The padding eventually breaks down and the boots will be very uncomfortable. Redwing's oak leather insole will outlast the rest of the boot, which is really saying something.

I would suggest the redwing GT for a more standard look. I don't much care for the toe cap on the Iron Ranger.

    All good boots require break-in.
