Need help on a new routine?

    For the past 2 years I've been doing a 4 day split that hits me pretty hard and I've seen good results, but as of recently it hasn't done anything and I need to switch. The rippetoe workout is highly recommended, but when I looked at it, it seems like there is nothing to it compared to my workout now, only like 7 sets a day, 3 days a week?

    That workout is too much, I'm looking for a workout geared towards athletes, I'm in ROTC.
