    Current Stats:
    Height: 5'8"
    Weight: 305lb

My initial goal is to get down around 230-240lbs.

Here is a quick rundown on my day-to-day food intake.

    Breakfast - 10:00am
    1 - Protien Shake
1 - Cup of Quaker Oats Oatmeal
1 - Pack of Universal Animal Pak (multi-vitamin)

    Mid-Snack - 12:00pm
    4/5 - Fat Free Pretzels
    or
    4/6 - Pineapple Chunks

    Lunch - 2:00pm
    1 - 8oz chicken breast
1/2 - Cup of steamed Mix Veggies

    Mid-Snack - 4:00pm
    1 - Protien Shake
    4/5 - Fat Free Pretzels

    Dinner - 6:00pm
    1 - 8oz Chicken Breast or 1 - 8oz Beef Top Round Steak
1 - 1/2 Cup of Steamed Mix Veggies or 1 - 1/2 Cup of Brown Rice
    4/6 - Pineapple Chunks or 4/6 - Watermelon Chunks

    Snack - 8:00pm
    4/5 - Fat Free Pretzels

I work Monday - Friday from 1pm till 930pm and I typically don't get to the gym till around 9:45-10pm. After working out I immediately have a protein shake. Right now I ON Protein is the only supplement I am taking other then Animal Pak Multi-Vitamins. I have taken Hydroxycut hardcore, noXplode, Glutimine, Creatine Mono and still have this stuff sitting around the house. If you suggest I take any of it thats cool. If not it's no biggie. I am currently in the process of picking up some pure Ephedrine as I heard that will help increase weight loss.

Help me get a workout program together to achieve my goal!!

    Thanks,

if your 5'8 at 305 then you don't need to worry about supplements. just a multivitamin and some whey maybe. seems like your diet is a little low in calories, whats the total? and do you eat the same thing everyday? just make sure your diet isn't to restrictive, otherwise you will just quit. keep the pretzels, otherwise you will probably lose your mind. i think the pretzels are a decent alternative to potato chips.

I currently work from like 1pm till 930pm and it's a office job so unfortuntley I am not up and moving about as much as I'd like. However, I am changing hours with another co-worker in another week so I will be working from like 10am till like 7pm..

I have tried a couple different salads and honestly they've all pretty much made me sick (all jokes aside). Is there any other substitutes I could use other then pretzels?

    Thanks,

the pretzels don't seem so bad.. but you could try munching on some nuts or fresh vegetables instead

I do eat peanuts and or cashews as long as I can get my hands on non-salted ones.

those are great and the fats are healthy, but only when they REPLACE unhealthy fats in your diet. just adding them in in place of something lower calorie would more than likely do more harm than good.

of course it would be better, but a man will go insane eating salads. he is 305 at 5'8, just getting away from the high calorie snacks is a great start.
i'm a little confused by your diet though, what does the 4/5 and 4/6 mean? is that 4-5 pretzals, or 4/5's of a serving?

Green Veggies if you need the carbs, maybe even yams or brown rice. If you need protein you could eat Tuna, Chicken, Fish. If you need fats, whole eggs, nuts. All much better suggestions.

Fuck, even an apple or banana would be better.

In all honesty, get rid of the pretzels except for maybe one day a week for now.

They'd be a better alternative than the pretzels.

You need to ditch them pretzels. Especially the ones before bed.

With the exception of after work outs when you need carbs fast you should never eat any bleached flour (white bread, etc).

he is 305lbs, all he really needs to worry about is calories in < calories burned at this point, worry about macros later.

i don't think a couple servings of fat free pretzels are going to give him diabetes.
i would like to think that someone counting calories isn't going to take all their calories in from sodas or candy....
