    hello folks,

    need help in choosing some ram for a amd 2500 barton on an Abit nf7 board.
    i have narrowed it down to three choices

    - Geil Value Series 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 -OEM

    - Buffalo Technology 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3700 w/ Micron Module - OEM

    - Buffalo Technology 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 - OEM

    I plan on running 1 gb of whichever ram i choose, what is the best choice? Thanks in advance

    anyother ram reccomendations are also welcome. i am looking to spend around $175 at most

    Well, I don't see why you need PC3700. I believe your mobo wont use anything over 3200. I guess I would go with Geil. They are all CAS 2.5, which is ok I guess. But 2 would be ideal. On the bright side Geil comes with a heatsink.

    I use Corsair XMS, its pretty $$ but runs very low latency and it overclocks like a mother.

    Of those three I'd go with Buffalo 3200
