... in fact, kick my ass. I've been lurking around here for quite some time. I used to weigh around 310lbs two years ago. It took a total upheaval of my lifestyle, but I managed to get down to a healthy 185 lbs.

This past winter I packed on 30 lbs of fat and I feel like I've lost that direction that I strived so hard for over the past two years.

KICK MY ASS and remind me of the struggle. Tell me about how you stay focused, and what keeps you going. I'm in one of those grooves where I havent been to the gym in a while, whereas last year I was there even if I was sick or there was a snowstorm, etc. . .

    Help a brother out

Has anyone checked his log lately? I remember him from waaaaay back, and when I joined again, I was astonished to see him back in here, posting for the first time in quite a while, lamenting that he got fat again.... and then crying when his thread couldn't be moved to the log section. lol

After that, I assumed he'd lose motivation again.

If you need someone else to "Motivate" you to do it then whatever gains you make will not stick around very long. You must want to do it FOR YOURSELF if you are going to make any true progress.

The new regiment has started, I miss feeling that energy that I used to have in spades, both physical and mental. Thank God for Montreal, the mountain is a great training ground.

just look in the mirror. works for me...

although what really works the most is seeing how shitty my numbers are when I post them in my log :wtc: and that's why i'm more focused on strength training
