hey im a 20 yr male college student. im 6foot3 and weight 155lbs soaking wet. im trying to gain weight and bulk over the summer but cannot afford a gym membership. i eat constantly and try to keep a big calorie intake and alot of protein. i am pretty active in that i play pickup basketball 3xs per week. im wondering if anyone can help me with a diet and/or workout routine that would help me gain someweight. i just cant seem to gain any at all.

start tracking how many calories your eating a day. Sounds like you'll need around 4500 - 5000 a day. Use www.fitday.com

as mentioned earlier, eat those ~4000-5000 cals/day.

and to make sure you dont just put all that weight to your gut, continue your basketball for the cardio. and add some pushups & crunches to your week.

and maybe find some way to get a hold of some dumbells for bicep & shoulder workouts.

as a broke-ass college student, i had gym facilities and ate peanut butter sandwiches by the loaf. and i also had access to intramurals and such 3-5 days a week if i wanted to be active. all of this (minus the sandwiches) should be included in your tuition, no?

he's away from school... but I don't understand how some people can't afford a cheap three month membership. Hell I think theres some promotion through some queer magazine to get 2 free months to bally's fitness. I'm not sure if its dead or not yet but here's the link. Worth a try. https://opal.ballyfitness.com/SELF/ClubSelect.asp
