not sure how reserves work, but GI Bill for AD works after you paid for it (1 year)...after that initial year and it's paid for, you can start using it. Not to pry, but how did you get yourself into this predicament to start with soldier?

I know with the Air Force they have the Air Force Aid Society. Maybe you can call the first shirt and ask them about what type of funding they have to help you out.

Go active duty, live in the barracks and get your life back on track?

Well if you are having a rough time finding a job, you should seriously consider going active duty...you'll have a full time job, place to live and 3 squares a day. Beats being semi-homeless w/ no job.

I believe to qualify for the Montgomery GI bill you have to have a 6 year commitment with the reserves. This is for reservists that have not deployed. There's also tuition assistance for the reserves and your Education Services Specialist is Mr. Tim Watterson. His number should be 1-800-501-1493 ext7824.

Money will not help you. You need to take a money management class, the Army should pay for one, I know the AF offers them.

Hell, i'm sure every Army post offers their own money management classes, free of charge to all soldiers & family members. Great recommendation Jyokker

You won't be. You'll be fixing them and you'll be able to get your life back on track.

talk to your reserve station and see if they can hook you up with relief society or something
