Well i just purchased a 98 chevy cavalier RS.

I am basically starting from scratch.

All i have for it is the deck which is a Alpine CDA 9884

what i need is someone to help me design for a system i'm lookin for price range of 1000-1500$ for that price im looking for the best sub(s) and amp(s).

What are you looking for? Something loud? Something that sounds good? If you plan on going with subs I would recommend doing some sort of sound deadening, every cavalier I have heard drive past me with subs rattles like hell.

you could probably do an all alpine system in that price range online.

its a good place to see whats on the market - everything is in the same location, with features/pics/specs/what fits your car/etc

and the prices are regular retail or better

That would be a very nice sounding sub stage... check out caraudio.com they have a lot of good stuff in the classifieds section.

I also have a pair of dual 4 ohm voice coil elemental designs 13OV.2 subs I'm looking to sell... PM me if you are interested.

I like the eD's very much... I think they hit just as hard as my current JL 12W6V2s, and they sound good as well.
