Ok im buying a new truck and i needed some final decidings on amp/subs

I have chosen a jbl 1200.1 to power either one large or 2 smaller (10") L5 solobaric 2 ohms..

i was reading on kickers site that i would have enough room with depth to mount in a truck box (its a 92 reg cab toyota) Do you think i would overcrowd the back with 2 subs? Anyone with a truck try and relate.

    Any suggestions/info?

Also i will be using a pioneer 7400 mp cd/mp3

    Thanks.

How much space will each sub be taking up .50 or 1 cuft? Either way you should have enough room.

What would you recomend in a small truck ? 2 10"s or like one 15"?

Well i just looked at the truck... i think i will just go with one.

Not sure if a 15 will fit but if not i will go with a 12" L7 :bigthumb:

Would i be safe running a 2 ohm 12" on a jbl 1200.1? or should i go with the 4 ohm? I dont want to fuck up the speaker.

2 or 4 ohms would be more than ok :big grin:! Are you getting L5 in D2 or D4

Well my plan is to get a 12" L5 D4 powered by a jbl 1200.1

Do u think i will have a problem with overpowering? I know these subs can take alot... I just dont want to push it to bad

So if i run the dvc in parralel it will be a 2 ohm indepandance right?

So the amp will be pushing around 1200 through it??

Hmm maybe i will get a kicker 600.1 cause i dont want to be too hard on the L5.
