    Hello Fellow OT'rs,

My roomates and i are planning on building a movie theater in our room. The dimentions of the room are 17X6.5. What i would like to know is what is a cheap, $800 or less projector that would be decent doesnt have to be great, what size screen should be used. And help to set up the room. The budget that we are working with is $1600 for everything. We already have surround sound and couches for seating. Any help would be great. Suggestions are also welcome.

    Thanks :wiggle:

I would suggest you shop around for a good home theater in a box and get projector/screen with the rest. Good luck :)

    6.5 feet high or wide?

give measurements of North West, S and E walls and height of celing so we know exactly how it is.

as far as a projector id just go to a site that has a ton of reviews, like the one jrock posted/
