    I'm trying to create a a date range within a single cell that changes in 7 calendar day increments.

    So that say:

    7/9/09 - 7/16/09
    7/17/09 - 7/24/09
    etc.

    Are consecutive, and in their respective cells. I was playing around with this formula which is giving me year increments:

    =TEXT(DATE(YEAR(A$1),MONTH(A$1)+(ROW()-2)+7,DAY(A$1)),"mm/dd/yy")&" - "&TEXT(DATE(YEAR(A$1),MONTH(A$1)+(ROW()-2)+7+11,DAY(A$1)),"mm/dd/yy")

    help, anyone?

    Personally, I would make 3 columns and then hide the first 2 if you want.

    In A1: 7/09/09
    in B1: =A1 + 6
    in A2: =B1 + 1
    in B2: =A2 + 6

    Then copy the 2nd row down

    In C1: =TEXT(A1,"m/dd/yyyy")&" - "&TEXT(B1,"m/dd/yyyy")

    And copy that down

    If you end up having to use the start and end dates in a forumla later on, you'll be glad you still have date fields
