Alright, I have a TV in my office, but it is dying and I really don't need to BUY another one when I have this wonderful LCD.

I have a DirecTiVO which has coax out only. Does anyone know of any inline adapters/switch boxes that will allow me to switch between the computer and the TV without installing a card and software in my machine?

Viewsonic makes a box you can get for about $90 that you can plug RCA and coax into. It basically installs betweeny our computer and the monitor. Allows switching of sources without installing anything in the pc. I have seen them at Best Buy.

How would you get work done if you turn your monitor into a TV?

For times when I am not working (which is rarely).

Amill, does that viewsonic box take DVI?

there are also some devices that will connect to your mac and allow you to watch tv either full screen or in a smaller floating window for those times you want to watch TV and work at the same time. :)
