    hmm. if you did duracoat, and as good as lauer does, i'd do it. but, i think i'm going to send my AR to them in the fall, and have them spray it in a MARPAT finish, over the entire rifle, forward pistol grip, surefire, everything.

    your stuff looks good though.

    Well, there is actually some controversy like that as of right now. A Class II manufacturer is getting me a letter from the ATF stating that I am allowed to receive an unoperational frame in the mail for refinishing; i.e. stripped bare bones. I should be allowed to refinish it and send it back to its original owner. Until I have the piece of paper, I'm just doing slides, funtional parts, mags, etc.

    Thanks for the compliments guys. Today, I am thinking about putting an urban tigerstripe on a 1911.
