I'm going to be doing alot more BJJ lately and little to no standup/Muay Thai because of my hand. What I need, is another BJJ gi. I might be training as much as 5 days of gi a week if I use all my options.

Now I have an Atama. I love it. But now Atama gi's are expensive as hell and I'm looking for another option and preferably cheaper.

There was a thread posted here just a few weeks ago with reviews on all of them.

I like my Kickskin and I think it was like 80 bucks. :dunno: It's held up well for being used 2-3 times a week for a year.

Probably going to get hate, but I'm going to be using a 1.5 weave mizuno (judo) gi for my bjj classes. $135 shipped (size 4.5)

The howard single is on par with most other gi's I have seen and I think it comes in at about $80 for white. I also have a Vulkan lightweight gi that fits very well.

Second Kikskin user here, and I'm quite happy with it.

My judo gi's collar is too thin and it's way to easy to get collar choked with it.

I ordered an HCK unbleached single weave for $50. I just needed another gi for now, maybe in the future I'll order a nicer one when I pick up a blue gi (I wanted a blue gi but didn't want to spend money atm).

Its a great gi for the price, just the unbleached comes in a light brown color that is not the most appealing.

I don't think it'll be too much of a problem, and I'll probably only wear it as my "backup" when my Atama is in the wash.

I have a Koral gi, its awesome.

But for ages I used a $90AUS judogi, does the job pretty cheaply. But the large sleeves make it easy for other people to grab you. Its not as tight a fit as a BJJ gi.

The large sleeves do help to keep you a bit cooler though.

The gi I ordered was out of stock, of course. Kind of a good thing because I was interested in a blue gi. I might order a blue Fuji gi, I've read good things about them on the Sherdog Gear & Equipment forum (best forum on Sherdog along with their Grappling forum).
