I'm really stuck on this one :hs:

    The assignment is "constructed image"

Basically I am supposed to manipulate the scene to create an illusion, or just manipulate it in general. It is pretty broad I'm just not feeling any of my ideas so far.

Basically if I can come up with some illusion that makes the eye see something differently than what it was really like. That's kind of what I'm going for.

    Ideas :x:

    here's an idea....

a nice shot of a lake with some fall colored trees in the background. have some dude standing next to teh lake looking all emo. then take another shot with him all happy with some chick and make sure you get the reflection clearly on that one.

Then replace the emo reflection with the happy one to represent how he used to be happy but now he's sad.

    something like that :dunno:

the first thing that came to my mind was some sort of shadow manipulation. so you have some person doing something near a wall, then get a different shadow reflected behind them. Basically just playing tricks with lighting angles.

Another thing could be playing with those lawn globe things that are basically just giant round mirrors. you might be able to get some interesting shots out of those.

You know the mirror image thing, where you have one mirror in front of you and one behind you, so it looks like a hall of mirrors? do that.

that is interesting too, I like the idea of combining my 5 shots side by side to make a panoramic or create a scene with the same person in every pic...

Kinda what I'm talking about. But I'm saying having one mirror parallel to the other, so they fade off into the abyss.

if you get the correct angle, you get an infinite number of yourself.

    Just watch this:

but I need 5 pics? how could I make a series out of that?
