I tried CyberDuck but couldn't get its sync function to work.

Ideally I should be able to:
    a) edit an HTML file in another application and it'll re-upload it every time I save the file
    b) drop an image file into a specific folder on my HD and it'll automatically put it up on my server

    I know it's out there :x:

    Transmit?

    Why not use rsync?

I don't think I have the haxor skills to get rsync to work. Anything that's not neatly packaged as a dmg file scares me :o How do I use it?

Right now I'm trying something called Yummy FTP, I've got it scheduling a sync every 5 minutes. Ideally I'd like it to be smarter and just do it whenever it's necessary, but this might be good enough.

Wonder if Transmit is smarter about it.

You can edit text files on the server with CyberDuck & trasmit. May need to purchase textmate (that is my default text editor). textedit may work too

I forgot, for this to work, you need to ssh into the server and make sure the rsync daemon is running.

    # rsnyc --daemon
