Nero fucked me over. I just switched from a Sony burner to HP and now Nero says it only works for Sony burners and wants me to give them more money. Fuck those mother fuckers.

Is there a good free alternative out there? I used Nero to burn VIDEO_TS DVDs and data DVD/CDs... I use DVD Decrypter to burn images.

That is because you got that copy with your burner. Honestly, I love Nero. EZ CD Creator seems popular though.

Yeah but that's fucking lame. People shouldn't have to buy Nero every time they switch burners... I'm looking for free burner software. EZ CD Creator apparently costs money :(

Right, they all cost money if they are decent. There are other routes, but OT doens't allow that conversation.
    :noes:
Windows can burn by default if I recall.:ugh:

There has to be some decent free alternatives. I thought you had to have something special to burn VIDEO_TS folders that contain a bunch of .vob and other files if you wanted them to play on a DVD player...

    DVD Shrink doesn't burn DVD's.

:werd: This is my favorite burning program for Windows... plus its FOSS. Small, quick & lightweight.... it pretty much does everything I've needed out of a burning program. Can't recommend it enough.
